Tiny but mighty, the BB is officially the smallest bodied guitar available in the Iris line. During the folk boom of the ‘50s and ‘60s when there was a resurgence of interest in acoustic music, the need for smaller guitars for younger, entry level players invited the industry to develop something more accommodating to a person of smaller stature. These 3/4, or student model, guitars are revered for their ease of play and their unique sound. The result is a parlor guitar that is snappy, punchy and down right sassy. The BB is based off of our AB model body but shrunk down while retaining a 24.75” scale length. Not only is it comfortable to play (and the perfect travel guitar), it truly would be great in any setting.
